In 2012, the firm was founded with the goal of providing reasonably priced legal services to middle-class consumers and small businesses in the D.C. Metro area. With a primary focus on litigation, Nigel’s appellate practice in particular has thrived, with a good success rate for clients in front of the D.C. Court of Appeals and the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.

While still maintaining the firm’s litigation practice, Nigel has begun spending more of his time working with small businesses in an advisory capacity, helping them confront the various issues they face in the current economy and regulatory environment. Businesses relating to food, and related fields such as cosmetics and dietary supplements, are a particular focus of Nigel’s work.

Nigel also continues to take some litigation matters at the trial level, on a case-by-case basis.
